One of the first coding bootcamps in Texas was co-founded in 2014 by Jason Straughan, the former CEO of Grok Interactive. While Codeup is no longer the lone star in a state attracting more and more developers (and coding bootcamps), the Codeup bootcamp satellites expanded to San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston. Courses run the gamut of software engineering disciplines including systems engineering (13 weeks), cyber cloud (13 weeks), web development (22 weeks) & data science (22 weeks). Codeup offers a range of payment plans, but we would like to see more third-party verified outcomes published considering the high cost of tuition.
