About Institution

The University of California Davis offers part-time virtual coding bootcamps in full-stack development, data analytics, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and UX/UI to new and lightly experienced learners. Powered by Trilogy Education Services (a 2U Inc brand), UC Davis offers a blended synchronous and asynchronous learning programs with professors 2 days a week. UC Davis estimates students need 24 hours per week (for 24 consecutive weeks) will be spent on class and homework assignments. One of the understated parts of this program we like is the computer science foundational knowledge offered before students begin coding languages. Unfortunately, that completeness doesn’t currently extend to its published outcomes. For a bootcamp tuition nearing $12,000, we’re surprised more transparent job placement and median salary data available. More work is needed on this front.
